How the team planner uses public data

The team planner reads public Fantasy Premier League data for the manager ID, the latest public picks, player form, expected points, expected minutes signals, xG/xA, defensive contribution, bonus/BPS trend, set-piece order, transfer activity, current prices, availability flags, team strength, and upcoming fixtures.

Early-season form, points-per-game, xG/xA, and bonus spikes are tempered toward position baselines until the public minutes sample is stronger.

A weekly tuning job now compares model estimates with real GW outcomes, so the weighting can keep learning as more public data becomes available.

During a live gameweek, official FPL totals, bonus points, and player records can update at different times. The planner marks this and treats live totals as a snapshot, not a final result.

Use the Why button in player tables or tap a player on the pitch to see the compact score breakdown behind a projection.

Team and manager lookup checks public FPL standings. Add both names plus an approximate Overall rank when a name is common.

Can this read my private current team?

No. With manager ID only, it reads public picks. Private pre-deadline plans require FPL authentication, which this version intentionally avoids.

How do I find my manager ID?

Paste an FPL entry URL from the Points page. If searching by name in Overall standings, add your approximate global rank so the tool can search the right pages.

Are the transfer suggestions guaranteed?

No. They are ranked estimates from public form, expected points, expected minutes, xG/xA, defensive contribution, set-piece order, availability, prices, team strength, and fixture context.

Can a live gameweek affect the numbers?

Yes. Current totals can be provisional while matches, autosubs, and bonus updates settle. Future projections start from the latest public total available when the planner loads.

Does the tool store my manager ID?

By default, no. If you turn on Remember on this device, the manager ID is saved only in your browser so the field can be pre-filled later.

Use it as a decision aid

Public FPL data is useful, but it does not include your exact planned transfers, private team value, chip strategy, bookmaker odds, confirmed lineups, or last-minute team news. Treat the output as a shortlist to review, not an autopick.
