Assumptions

Calculation notes

  • Routes use standard darts checkout rules: maximum three darts, and the final dart must be a double or bull.
  • Bull scores 50 and is allowed as the final dart. 25 is the outer bull and can be used as a setup dart only.
  • The first one or two setup darts are deduplicated as combinations, so T20, S20, D10 is treated the same setup as S20, T20, D10.
  • Route order uses fewest darts first, then favours the selected preferred finishing double where available among routes of the same length.
  • Player preference, blocker darts, and match situation can still change the best choice.

Guide

How to use the Darts Outshot Calculator

Generate all legal one, two, and three-dart checkout combinations for a darts score, ranked by practical finish routes and grouped with charts and full route output. It is useful for comparing football table, run-in, xG, match-outcome, fantasy squad, transfer, captain, or watchlist scenarios because it keeps inputs, charted outputs, notes, and related next steps on the same page.

Start by checking score remaining and preferred finishing double. The results update as assumptions change, so you can compare scenarios before downloading a CSV report.

Inputs

Inputs to check

  • Score remaining: Checkouts above 170 and some bogey numbers cannot be finished in three darts.
  • Preferred finishing double: Best checkout favours this finish when a route exists with the same number of darts.
